Project Overview
Building from our experience developing the Airshed Management System, Air Sciences worked with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) to modernize their smoke management program. ADEQ coordinates with federal, state, local, and tribal agencies across Arizona to manage prescribed burning throughout the year. Air Sciences developed specific functionality for ADEQ’s new web-based system in accordance with their regulatory structure and increased efficiency of the approval process and communication with burners.
